Music at St. Clare is a variety of song, movement, playing instruments, performance, history, and much more. The curriculum is geared to the grade level. In PK-2nd Grades we focus on singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments. In the middle Grades we focus on singing and playing tuned instruments. In 6th, 7th and 8th Grades we broaden the musical experience to include music history, drama and dance.

 Instrumental Music is also offered during the school day by Palmer Music. 

Palmer Music Education has been serving the Catholic, Lutheran and Private Schools in the greater St. Louis area for the past 52 years with Instrumental Music Programs. 
We offer a perpetuated recruitment program that allows programs to grow each year. Classes are offered on all band instruments, guitar and piano. Palmer Music Education provides various motivating outlets including an annual Solo & Ensemble Contest to allow for positive educational result.  Instruments are available to rent for a nominal fee as long as supplies last.
