We Celebrate That Jesus Is Our Friend is the title of our Religion unit.  

This week in Reading our focus will be on decoding words.  What Can You Do ? is our phonics story.  Please ask your child to read it to you.

In Math the children will review addition and subtraction.

Our closing Prayer Service is Thursday at 9:30.  Parents, younger siblings, and grandparents are invited to attend.  Siblings attending St. Clare will not be dismissed from class to attend.
 
The children should arrive at 9:10 and go directly to their classroom.  Parents, younger siblings, and grandparents should proceed to Church and be seated.  The children should dress as they do for Mass on Sunday.  
 
The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes.  A cookie and punch reception will be held in the cafeteria immediately following the ceremony.  Children will leave with their parents from the reception.


A Few Reminders:

• Please remember to sign and return behavior reports each day.
• Homework comes home on Tuesday and is due Wednesday.  All writing should be done in pencil and coloring with crayons.  Please no pens or markers.
• Please remember to send a peanut-free snack to school each day.
• Yellow folders should be emptied and returned to school each day.
• Sight words introduced:  I, am, the, little, to, a, is, have, we, my, like, he, for, with, she, see, look,they, you, of, do, are, that, go, here, from, what, said, was., where, come.
