My name is Judy Sturm and I am excited to begin my 25th year of teaching Kindergarten at St. Clare of Assisi. Before coming to St. Clare, I taught Preschool and First Grade. I have a bachelor’s degree in Math and Elementary Education from Fontbonne University. My goal is to create a safe, loving environment where each child feels special. I strive to develop activities and facilitate experiences that will encourage a lifelong love of God and a love for learning.

My name is Colleen Schimweg.  I am proud to have been the First Grade teacher at St. Clare of Assisi since 2001.  I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from St. Louis University and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University.  My classroom is a comfortable, safe learning environment which allows each child to flourish.  First grade is a huge year of growth and development and I strive every day to help the students reach their highest potential, academically and socially.  I look forward to partnering with you to help your child be successful!
