75-question survey instrument, available online & paper, in 18 languages

How long does it take a parishioner to complete the DMI?
Typically 10-15 minutes
Do all parishes have to do the DMI?
Yes. The survey will be open to all parishioners throughout the archdiocese and include all parishes.
Will each parish receive an individualized report?
Yes, and access to an online platform to review and dig into the data deeper.
What’s the average response rate?
15-20% of Mass-going Catholics in your parish.
What is the cost to the parish?
Only your effort and publicity to your people!

It’s even more important to be engaging our people in a multitude of ways to keep them engaged in the faith and the parish.
Who has access to this information?
The Archdiocese, Pastor, Primary Point of Contact, Key Parish Leaders, and CLI. CLI will not share your information with any party without expressed written permission.
Is the survey anonymous?
Yes – the DMI does not collect any personal information.
Why aren’t there spaces to write comments on the DMI?
The purpose is to take a snapshot of the faith community.
