ST. CLARE OF ASSISI SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT
 

St. Clare of Assisi School is a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of St. Louis whose mission is to be a visible faith community.  Enriched by our Catholic tradition, we educate the whole child spiritually and academically, recognizing and encouraging each individual's unique gifts. 

Our school community is committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in all our words and actions, nurturing community within our parish.

ST. CLARE OF ASSISI SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

Following the example of St. Clare, our patron, we proclaim the gospel message of peace and justice for all.  We seek to integrate religious truths and values while we serve each other in communities near and far.

Recognizing the parents as the primary educators in faith, our caring faculty will collaborate in the faith formation of each child.

As a visible community of faith, we reflect the body of Christ in an atmosphere of love and respect.  We strive to make the teachings and the example of Jesus Christ central to the daily life and spirit of our school community.  Valuing the dignity of each child as a gift from God with unique talents and abilities, we encourage the full academic and spiritual development of all students.

Building on a foundation of faith, the students will have a strong Catholic identity witnessing their faith while being a light of Christ to the world.
