Pastoral Care
PASTORAL CARE:
Assists the pastor by offering parishioners loving care and support in time of need. Members provide such services as: relieving a care-giver; moral support via phonecalls, notes, etc.; communion calls and visits to shut-ins; hospital visits; notes to the ill; transportation to church, medical appointments; emergency baby-sitting; special needs of new parishioners; emergency meals for the ill.

Adult Sitting: Parishioners sit with an ill or homebound adult when their companion has to be out on an errand. Contact: Rosie Hartman
Meals: Meals provided to a household experiencing a crisis. Contact: Lisa Arends
Meals for Moms: Meals are prepared and delivered to families who have been blessed with the birth of a new baby. Also, to moms who need to be "off their feet" during pregnancy. Contact: Katie Flynn -
Transportation: Transportation is provided to Church or doctor appointments for those unable to drive. Contact: Sue Fitzgerald -
Consolation Ministry: The Ministry of Consolation, in response to God's call to be minister of consolation, offers pastoral and spiritual support to the bereaved, care givers and congregation. Through education, counseling and other resources, this ministry offers to parishioners who have suffered a loss through death, the opportunity to receive the healing comfort of God.
